# Viewing Users Activity in a Period

Users’ activity in a specific period can be visualized using the “Users Activity Illustrator.” When “From” and “To” times are selected, the play button can be pressed to start viewing connections that are made in each period one step at a time. The period is a day if “From” and “To” are different days, and an hour or a minute if “From” and “To” have the same day or hour. The playing speed can be slowed down by increasing “Delay between steps.”

A sub-graph that is created from only those connections made in the defined period can also be viewed using the “Sub-graph” button. To return back from the sub-graph to the complete graph, the “Reset” button on the top menu can be used.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://brightid.gitbook.io/brightid/explorer/viewing-users-activity-in-a-period.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
