# Burn Signal

Step 1: Go to [burnsignal.io](https://burnsignal.io/). Login with a MetaMask, WalletConnect, Fortmatic or Authereum wallet. Once you are in, click on the BrightID next to your avatar.

Step 2: Click 'BrightID' to start the linking process.

Step 3: You will be directed to [ethereum.brightid.org](https://ethereum.brightid.org/). Click 'Get Started' to select the wallet you intended to connect it with.

Step 4: Connect your wallet again to verify the address. In this tutorial, we will use 'Metamask'.

Step 5: Connect your wallet to [ethereum.brightid.org](https://ethereum.brightid.org/) page.

Step 6: Adjust your gas fee and confirm the connection.

Step 7: You will be directed to [ethereum.brightid.org](https://ethereum.brightid.org/) page with a special QR code.

Step 8: Open your BrightID app and open your QR code scanner. Then scan the QR code that provided on [ethereum.brightid.org](https://ethereum.brightid.org/) page.

Step 9: Confirm the connection on your BrightID app.
