# Первые шаги

В отличие от других инструментов проверки личности, BrightID не требует удостоверения личности, даты рождения или подтверждения адреса. Все, что вам нужно предоставить - изображение и имя по вашему выбору, чтобы облегчить установление контактов и другие действия. Вы можете изменить их в любое время. Ваш никнейм и изображение сохраняются только на вашем собственном устройстве и больше нигде в интернете. Вы безопасно делитесь ими через канал p2p, когда устанавливаете соединения со своими друзьями или знакомыми.

На главном экране отображается ваше имя и фотография. Ваш статус проверки BrightID указан под вашим именем. В состоянии, когда вы не верифицированны для какого-либо приложения, в строке состояния будет указано «не верифицирован».

Вы можете видеть свои подключения, группы и приложения. Кнопки для подключения находятся внизу. Иконки меню и уведомлений находятся сверху. Вы можете получать уведомления о входящих запросах на подключение, приглашениях в группы и т. д. В меню есть такие функции, как редактирование вашего профиля, просмотр ваших достижений, проверка обновлений и многое другое.
